The SONOFF MINI PM (MINI-1GP) is a compact Matter over Wi-Fi power meter from the SONOFF MINI Extreme Series Gen5. It tracks energy in both directions – what your appliances consume and what your solar panels generate – on loads up to 16A, and keeps up to one year of energy data stored locally for easy analysis in the app.
With a simple retrofit it turns an ordinary load or wall socket into an energy monitor. You can follow it in the eWeLink app, from a local web console in your browser with no app or cloud connection, or integrate it with Home Assistant, openHAB, ioBroker and Node-RED through its open API over HTTP, WebSocket and MQTT.
Note: this is a non-switch product – it measures energy only and cannot turn devices on or off. A neutral wire is required, and a wall box depth of 60 mm or more is recommended. Due to current Matter platform limitations on energy meters, Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and SmartThings do not yet support adding the MINI-1GP through Matter.
