Description
The IMOU VD1 (VD1-5M0S) is a battery-powered smart door viewer that looks like an ordinary peephole from the outside but works like a security camera. Its 5MP (2880 × 1620) lens with a 149° diagonal field of view shows your doorstep on a 4.3-inch color screen inside the door and in the Imou Life app on your phone.
Choose how it works: in Manual mode you check the screen when someone knocks and capture photos or video with one button, for up to 5 months per charge; in AOV mode the VD1 watches your door 24/7 and automatically records every person it detects, for 7–14 days per charge – ideal while you are away. Human and loitering detection (in AOV mode), four privacy zones, dual-band 2.4 / 5 GHz Wi-Fi, microSD storage up to 512GB and Amazon Alexa support are built in. It fits standard European doors 35–102 mm thick with 14–26 mm holes and comes with interchangeable gold, silver and black lens rings.
Note: check that your door is 35–102 mm thick with a 14–26 mm peephole hole. Versions with installation and a 64GB or 128GB microSD card are available as variants.
