Description
The Hikvision DS-PDBG8-EG2 is an indoor wired glass break detector that uses a high-quality omni-directional microphone to listen for the sound of breaking glass. It covers up to 8 m with a 120° angle and mounts on a wall or ceiling.
It detects float, plate, tempered, wired, laminated and double-glazed glass from 2.4 to 6.4 mm thick, with sensitivity adjustable by a potentiometer. It runs on 9–16 VDC, provides a normally closed (NC) alarm output and has selectable EOL resistors and front tamper protection.
Note: this is a wired detector. It connects by cable to a wired zone of an alarm control panel or input expander (see "Works With" below).
