Description
The SONOFF Basic Gen5 (BASIC-1GS) is a Matter-certified Wi-Fi smart switch from the SONOFF Basic Series. Rated at 10A resistive load, it is wired inline with a light or appliance so you can control it from the eWeLink app, by voice, with schedules and with smart scenes.
Thanks to Matter, it works with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings and Home Assistant, and it keeps working locally even when the internet is down. Magic Switch Mode lets you keep controlling the light from the app even after the traditional wall switch has been turned off.
Note: designed for resistive loads up to 10A such as lights, kettles and heaters; avoid connecting inductive loads (e.g. motors) that exceed the rated power. Installation must be done by a qualified electrician.
