Description
The Hikvision DS-PDBG8-EG2-WB is a wireless glass break detector designed for the Hikvision AX PRO intrusion alarm system. It uses an acoustic sensor to detect the distinctive sound characteristics generated when glass is broken.
The detector provides coverage of up to 8 meters with a 120° detection angle, making it suitable for protecting windows, glass doors, storefronts and other glazed areas. Detection sensitivity can be selected according to the installation distance at 2m, 4m, 6m or 8m.
It supports multiple glass types including float, plate, tempered, wired, laminated leaded and double glazing, with supported glass thicknesses from 2.4 to 6.4 mm. Using Hikvision Tri-X two-way wireless technology, the WB version operates at 433MHz, supports AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping, and provides a wireless range of up to 1 km in open space.
