The SONOFF Dongle Plus MG24 (Dongle-PMG24) is a Zigbee/Thread USB dongle powered by the advanced EFR32MG24 chip, with richer resources and higher performance for faster automation processing and stable sub-device control. It works with Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, openHAB and other open-source platforms.
Its default 3dBi antenna gain is optimized up to 4.5dBi for stronger signal and wider coverage, with a range of up to 200 m in free line of sight. Flash different firmware with the SONOFF Dongle Flasher web tool or Home Assistant add-on to switch roles in about a minute, and use the included USB extension cable to minimize interference.
Note: the dongle needs a host computer running an open-source platform such as Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT or openHAB.
